Samsung / LG Smart TV Setup

Native smart TV apps vary by year/model. Many users prefer a $25 Fire Stick for reliability — but direct TV apps work when configured correctly.

Before you start
Samsung Tizen or LG webOS TV on same network
Smart IPTV / SS IPTV / SET IPTV installed from TV store
Phone/PC to register MAC if required

Recommended app: Smart IPTV / SS IPTV / SET IPTV

Alternatives: IPTV Smarters (if available) · Fire Stick HDMI (easiest path)

Step-by-step

1

Install the TV app

Open your TV’s app store. Install Smart IPTV (Samsung) or SS IPTV / similar (LG). Note the on-screen MAC address.

Tip: Write the MAC carefully — 0 vs O mistakes are common.

2

Register playlist (if required)

Some apps need you to visit their website, enter the MAC, and upload an M3U or portal URL provided by APEX IPTV support.

3

Or use Xtream login inside app

If your app supports portal/Xtream login on-device, enter host, user, and password directly — no MAC site needed.

4

Restart the app

Close the app fully from TV recent apps, reopen, and wait for channel list sync.

5

Test playback

Play a live channel for 2 minutes. Check remote navigation and EPG if available.

6

Fallback option

If the TV app is flaky, plug in a Fire Stick or Chromecast with Google TV — same APEX IPTV account, smoother UX.
